How it works

  1. Find a better quote at a local repair shop with a physical store within 20 miles of Star Phone Fix.
  2. Show it to us any way you like: a photo, a screenshot, a PDF, a document, or a text, email, or WhatsApp message. Send it to us or bring it to the store before we start the repair. It just needs to show the shop's name and address, the repair, the price, and the part technology.
  3. If their price is lower for the same repair and the same part quality:
    • We match the price.
    • We match the warranty written on that quote, up to 90 days.
    • You get a $15 store credit for any accessory.
  4. If their price is the same as ours but their written warranty is longer, we match the warranty, up to 90 days, and you still get the $15 accessory credit.
  5. If our price is already lower, you simply pay our lower price.

Which repairs it covers

The price match applies to repairs that include a replacement part, such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, back glass, buttons, and speakers. It does not apply to services where no part is sold:

  • Data recovery, including temporary repairs to turn on a damaged phone so you can transfer your data
  • Virus and malware removal and other software services
  • Cleaning and maintenance, including thermal paste or liquid metal service

What counts as the same repair

The quote must be for the same device model, the same repair, and the same part quality. For example, a Soft OLED screen must be compared with a Soft OLED screen, and an Incell LCD with an Incell LCD. That is why the quote must say which part technology will be used.

The price match applies to the repair as a whole, not to each part used. If your device needs more than one repair, compare the full quote for the same work.

About the $15 accessory credit

  • It is store credit, not cash, and it cannot be used as a discount on the repair.
  • It has no cash value and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.
  • It is not a gift card, coupon, or any physical card or voucher. The credit is applied to the account of the customer who receives it.
  • You can use it right away, as soon as your repair is finished, on any accessory: screen protectors, cases, chargers, cables, and more, of any brand or model.
  • One credit per device, no matter how many repairs or parts that device needs. Splitting repairs on the same device into separate visits (for example, the screen today and the battery tomorrow) does not earn another credit.
  • Any unused balance stays on your account as store credit and expires 90 days after it is issued.
  • It cannot be combined with other accessory promotions.

Terms

  • The price match must be approved before the repair starts. It cannot be applied during or after the repair.
  • It is always subject to part availability. We do not refuse a valid price match, but we need the right part available to do the repair.
  • The quote must be dated within the last 7 days.
  • The competitor must be a local business with a physical store within 20 miles of Star Phone Fix.
  • Not valid for online marketplaces or sellers (such as Amazon, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace), mail-in services, Apple, or limited-time, clearance, or promotional prices.
  • The quote must clearly show the shop's name and address, the repair, the price, and the part technology. If any of this is missing, or the parts are not the same, the guarantee does not apply.
  • Applies only to repairs that include a replacement part. Services without a part are not included (see Which repairs it covers).
  • Star Phone Fix may refuse a price match or the $15 credit at any time if we believe the policy is being misused or abused.
  • Star Phone Fix may modify or end this policy at any time, without prior notice or explanation. The terms in effect on the day of your repair apply.

Do you match prices from other repair shops?

Yes. If a local repair shop within 20 miles quotes a lower price for the same repair with the same part quality, we match it. Just show us the quote in any format (a photo, screenshot, PDF, document, text, email, or WhatsApp message), dated within the last 7 days.

Does the price match apply to every service?

No. It applies to repairs that include a replacement part. Services without a part, such as data recovery, temporary repairs to transfer data, virus and malware removal, and cleaning and maintenance, are not included.

Do you match warranties too?

Yes. When we match a price, we also match the written warranty on that same quote, up to 90 days. Every repair already includes our standard 30-day warranty.

What if the price is the same but their warranty is longer?

We match their written warranty, up to 90 days, and you still get the $15 store credit for accessories. All other terms apply.

Do I also get the $15 credit?

Yes. When we match a competitor's price, you also get a $15 store credit for accessories, one per device, which you can use as soon as your repair is finished.

What if your price is already lower?

Then you simply pay our lower price. The $15 credit applies only when we match a competitor's lower price or longer warranty.

Can I use the $15 credit as a discount on my repair?

No. The credit is for accessories only, of any brand or model. It is not cash and cannot be applied to the repair price.
